The Integrated Support Center for Nuclear Nonproliferation and Nuclear Security (ISCN) of Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) holds an annual International Forum on Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy, Nuclear Non-proliferation and Nuclear Security starts at 13:30, Tuesday, 10 December 2024 (JST). In this forum, ISCN introduces Japan's effort towards nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear security through JAEA, as well as enhances understanding about various issues and policies concerning the peaceful use of nuclear energy and nuclear non-proliferation, and nuclear security. We look forward to your participation.

In May 2024, ISCN/JAEA joined the IAEA International Nuclear Security Education Network (INSEN) (a partnership to promote sustainable nuclear security education). Taking this good opportunity, this year's Forum will be positioned to build momentum for strengthening education on nuclear non-proliferation, nuclear security, and nuclear disarmament as a means of student engagement and literacy to secure human resources in the fields of nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear security. Discussions will also be held with the aim of sharing common issues, needs, and good practices in the global, Asian region, and Japan, as well as to draw up necessary future initiatives and a vision for the future, including university education and research institutions, and domestic, regional, and international collaborations. -
